Hello, I’m Mohammed Golam Mortoza, a dedicated tutor and strong advocate for First Nations education, with deep experience in math and science teaching. For over a decade, I’ve worked closely with schools and communities, witnessing firsthand the strengths of Indigenous students alongside the challenges they face in STEM. With respect and humility, I’ve launched this online (and in-person) tutoring business to offer accessible, culturally responsive support—honoring traditional ways of knowing while building strong skills in math and science. We walk together to turn obstacles into strengths, blending interactive live sessions with replayable on-demand resources so learners can move at their own pace, revisit teachings as needed, and create lasting value that flows back to families and communities.
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to nurture academic success and confidence for First Nations students by weaving math and science into engaging, relevant learning rooted in cultural strengths. We draw on holistic approaches—connecting concepts to the land, like applying physics to traditional harvesting practices or math to community resource planning and sustainable development. Through this sustainable online platform, we share digital resources and courses that generate ongoing support, empowering students while honoring Indigenous knowledge systems alongside Western tools (what some call “Two-Eyed Seeing”).
